Lyrics of Your Song

I have analysed the lyrics noting what themes and storyline's I could utilize in my own video

Ellie Goulding 'Your Song'

For a number of reasons including the practical advantages of filming at my home (knowing the best locations and the ability to refilm easily) as well as the fact that the performer knew this song best prompted me to select this song.

After getting negative feedback (again!) I have decided to take on a more accesible idea for my video, the top three options I am considering are;
Paulo Nutini-Candy
Ellie Goulding-Your Song
Jack Johnson-Sitting, Waiting Wishing

Flight of the Conchords Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros

This is the song that I have decided to now perform and edit.

I have decided after submitting my first music video, and receeving predominantly negative feedback to change my song. From hip hop to the more essesable comedy music. This descision was made as one constant complaint was that it was to introverted and gloomy so I decided to make a change.

Kanye West - POWER

This is the original video to the song I wished to use.

Permission

I have sent a letter to the institution that holds the usage rights for Kanye West's latest album for permission to use a song from tha album. In case a letter is sent tellling me I don't have permission I have written a backup to send to another institution and another band.
